Girgaon- Just like other mandals, Girgaon’s Bhandari Street celebrates Ganesh Festival but here Hindu- Muslim does it together. This mandal completed 57 years and they celebrated Ganesh festival & Bakri Id together in harmony. Local corporator Yugandhara Salekar also visited the mandal along with other Muslim residents. Every year, they bring in small idol and gives out the message of saving environment. This year they also created a short film on Beti Bachao & Beti Padhao.
