The actor who is busy with his soon to release film, The Sky is Pink, is now gearing up for his upcoming film, Toofan, directed by Rakyesh Omprakash Mehra.


Farhan Akhtar who has been busy with some projects in the recent time is now gearing up for his upcoming film 'Toofan' where he will be essaying a role of Boxer The actor also has a lot to say about the films based on the lives of sports personalities. He has also been actively involved in promoting sports in the country, be it through films or as an Indian ambassador for the UEFA champions league. 

Talking about films being made on the sports personalities, Farhan said, "We, in our history, have had some amazing sports heroes and if their stories can be shared which they should be then, of course, you celebrate the career of that person and there's a lot to learn from it. There's a lot of drama in sports and when you see a person's career, there are always ups and downs at times. There would be a lot of struggle from where they have come so there's a lot to learn, especially for kids and they have a lot of positive messages that can be taken from such films."

The actor's preparations are in full swing for his upcoming next 'Toofan' and his fans have been keen on getting updates about the same on social media.

Besides being an actor, he has also shown interest as a screenwriter, director, and producer with countless movies and web series added to his credit. After acing the personification of Olympian sprinter Milkha Singh, this will be Farhan's next sports-drama. Further, it will be after six years (post, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag), where the hit duo- Farhan and Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra will reunite for this film.

Currently, he is occupied with his soon to release 'The Sky Is Pink' where he will be sharing the screen with Priyanka Chopra. The duo was earlier seen in Dil Dhadakne Do
