One of the most popular actors of India, Vijay Deverakonda, who is known both for this acting and looks, will soon be seen in acclaimed director Puri Jagannadh’s 'crazy' project and the filming for the same began today in Mumbai. The formal pooja ceremony was held in the city where Charmme Kaur clapped the sound board for the muhurtam shot with Vijay Deverakonda.
This is immediate project for Puri Jagannadh who delivered a massive hit with his last flick iSmart Shankar. Bowled by his concept, Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta joined the project as production partners. The yet untitled film will be a Pan India release made in Hindi and all south Indian languages.
Puri, through his previous films, is a specialist in showing his heroes in never seen before manner and he indeed explores the best out of them. Likewise, he has taken special care about Vijay Deverakonda’s look in the film where the young hero has undergone rigorous training with strict diet to shape-up his body. He also flew to Thailand to learn mixed martial arts and other fight forms for his role.
This indeed is one of the challenging roles for Vijay Deverakonda and it is said that he will be seen in a completely new avatar. Besides Vijay, the film stars Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, Vishu Reddy, Aali and Getup Srinu in pivotal roles.
The film is produced by Puri Jagannadh touring talkies and Puri connects along with Charmme Kaur , Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta and will be presented by Dharma Productions.
