During an interactive session with media, actor Arshad Warsi spoke about the third insatllment of Raju Hirani's Munna Bhai series which will go on floors by the mid or end of 2019

Recently, during a media interaction actor Arshad Warsi said that the third installment of Munna Bhai franchise to go on floors by the end of 2019.

Talking about the third installment Arshad said, “I do know that the script is pretty much ready. I do know from Raju that the film will go on floors this year- either mid or the end of the year. The work on the script is going on. As of now, yes it’s Sanju and me. These are the things I’ve been told.”

Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the series is about an jovial goon essayed by Sanjay Dutt and his loyal mate Circuit played by Arshad Warsi who entertained audiences with two very different concepts in the past two franchises- taking a laughter ride in a hospital in the first part and remembering the fading Gandhian values in the second part.

When asked his about his excitement for reviving the character ‘circuit’ Arshad averred that there has been a gap of more than a decade, therefore, he feels quite scary to pick up the character from where he left.

“I tend to do my film and forget about my character and I move on to the next one. I tend to forget, which is what happened with Munna Bhai. When I came for the second part, I was doing the same role differently. I realized something isn’t quite right. Then Raju and I saw a couple of scenes from the first one and remembered how I should be doing. This time too, I’m sure I’ll do it”, said Arshad.

Arshad also mentioned that the fifth installment of Golmaal will also happen soon. Currently, the actor is all busy promoting his upcoming release of Fraud Saiyaan, directed by Sourabh Shrivastava and presented by Prakash Jha. The film is all set to hit the theatres on January 18.
