Salman Khan – Alia Bhatt starrer Inshallah postponed or shelved?

Earlier today, Salman Khan took to his twitter to announce that his next movie with Sanjay Leela Bhansali that also had Alia Bhatt in the lead role may not release on Eid 2020. The movie istitled Inshalallah and people were eager to see the chemistry between Salman and Alia.

Whenever Salman has collaborated with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, their work has been appreciated whether it was in Saawariya or in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. As per sources, Sanjay had only narrated the first half of the story to Salman and basis that only he came on board. Now that the latter half especially the climax has been revealed Salman in not too keen on the project.

While the official word is that the movie may see the light of the day at a later date in 2020 but the word on the street is also that the project might just get delayed indefinitely and get shelved in due course of time. However, there is no clear word on this.

Another very strong message that Salman has sent out through his tweet is that even though Inshallah is delayed, he will still see his fans on Eid 2020. It seems that the actor might utilise the time at hand to work on the sequel of Kick (Kick 2) or Ek Tha Tiger and may look at releasing that movie at Eid.

In the meantime, the makers of LakmmiBomb have announced that the movie will be an Eid release. The movie May 22, 2020 and it stars Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani in the lead.
