Discovery Jeet launches with 'EPIC' and promising content
With an aim to reach out to more than 100mn households, Discovery Jeet aims to entertain the audience in 3 languages from January 12, with Netflix being the exclusive global OTT platform for the channel content.
Indian TV ecosystem today has many general entertainment channels (GECs) striving to entertain and win audience's heart with their content offering. Most of the channels offer closely relatable content, which is primarily watched by every household and precisely why the channels, over the last few years, has been extending the primetime slots from late afternoon to late evenings. Moreover, many channels have now chosen to revamp and rebrand themselves to be the best in the content and entertainment space.
Bringing a new wave of content, and adding more competition to the existing general entertainment ecosystem is Discovery Jeet, a new channel which will deliver shows across genres, for all age groups
