Mumbai- Demonitization had its effects on the common man in various ways. One of the biggest issues faced by commoners was the limit on ATM cash withdrawal.
Now RBI has increased the daily ATM cash withdrawal limit to Rs 10,000 initially which was Rs 4,500. And for the Current account the cash withdrawal limit has increased to 1 lakh earlier which was Rs 50,000.
With these changes, the weekly withdrawal limit will still remain at Rs 24,000. According to the information, new notes worth 10 lakh crore has been placed in the system and around Rs 1 lakh crore currencies is with the currency chest in different parts of the country. RBI also focus on solving cash problems in the interior parts.
