Ganpati 2022: 12 Additional Special Trains between Mumbai, Goa & Konkan

Central Railways (CR) will run 12 Additional Ganpati Special Trains between Panvel and Madgaon / Ratnagiri to clear the extra rush of passengers during Ganpati Festival 2022. CR already announced running of 218 Ganpati special trains. With this, the total number of Ganpati special trains in 2022 will be 230. The details are as under: -

1. Panvel-Madgaon Ganpati Special

01595 weekly special will leave Panvel at 16.45 hrs o­n 04.9.2022 and 11.09.2022 and will arrive Madgaon at 06.00 hrs next day.

01596 weekly special will leave Madgaon at 15.00 hrs o­n 02.9.2022 and 09.9.2022 and will arrive Panvel at 05.10 hrs next day.

Halts: Roha, Mangaon, Veer, Sape Wamne, Khed, Chiplun, Sawarda, Aravali Road, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Adavali, Vilavade, Rajpur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Nandgaon Road, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road, Thivim and Karmali.

2. Panvel- Ratnagiri Ganpati Special

01591 weekly special will leave Panvel at 05.40 hrs o­n 03.9.2022 and 10.09.2022 and will arrive Ratnagiri at 11.45 hrs same day.

01592 weekly special will leave Ratnagiri at 15.05 hrs o­n 03.9.2022 and 10.09.2022 and will arrive Panvel at 22.55 hrs same day.

3. Panvel- Ratnagiri Ganpati Special

01593 weekly special will leave Panvel at 01.30 hrs o­n 4.9.2022 and 11.09.2022 and will arrive Ratnagiri at 07.30 hrs same day.

01594 weekly special will leave Ratnagiri at 08.20 hrs o­n 4.9.2022 and 11.09.2022 and will arrive Panvel at 15.20 hrs same day.

Halts for 01591/01592 & 01593/01594: Roha, Mangaon, Veer, Sape Wamne, Khed, Chiplun, Sawarda, Aravali Road and Sangameshwar Road.

Composition for all trains: 18 Second class seating, 1 Second class cum Guard’s brake van and o­ne generator van.

In addition, the railways have decided to attach additional AC-2 Tier, AC-3 Tier and AC chair coaches to the Mumbai-Madgaon AC Double Decker Express to clear the extra rush of passengers as per details given below:

Train no 11099/11100 LTT-Madgoan AC Double Decker Weekly Express Ex LTT with effect from 27.08.2022 to 10.9.2022 and from ex Madgaon with effect from 28.8.2022 to 11.9.2022

Train no 11085/11086 LTT-Madgoan AC Double Decker Bi-weekly Express ex LTT with effect from 29.08.2022 to 7.9.2022 and from ex Madgaon with effect from 30.8.2022 to 8.9.2022

Reservation: Bookings for all the above special trains o­n special charges will open from August 25 at all computerised reservation centres and o­n website www.irctc.co.in
