According to the daily report of deaths and injuries, three people were killed on railway tracks in Thane and Kalyan each, while two people died in Mumbai's Wadala area.
One person each died on railway tracks in Kurla, Mumbai Central, Bandra, and in Dombivali. According to the railway officials, all the deceased were men. According to an RTI query, in 2017, 3,014 people lost their lives in accidents on rail tracks.
