People who stand in long queues outside electricity bill centres can now pay their bills via an application. The Brihanmumbai Electric Supply & Transport (BEST) has started its own application ‘MiBEST’ to provide the easiest platform for consumers.
BEST electricity consumers will now be able to pay the electricity bill with the help of credit card/debit card or net banking. Apart from this, consumers will be entitled to 1.25 per cent discount if the bill is paid on time.

Along with paying electricity bills, consumers will get to register billing-related complaints and give suggestions as well. However, while doing so, the consumer has to compulsorily register their consumer account number while filing a complaint. Upon doing so, the consumer will get the receipt on the doorstep and will receive an SMS as well.
