After Narendra Modi government came to power for the second term, the petrol and diesel prices are increasing constantly. Moreover, the market price of domestic LPG gas – without subsidy - has also increased by ₹25 from June 1 while the hike worth ₹1.23 will be implemented for the gas cylinders with the subsidy.

The hike in LPG gas price has happened for the fourth consecutive month. The price for domestic LPG cylinder (14.2 kg) has increased to ₹771.50 (without subsidy).

However, there has been no increase in the price of commercial gas cylinder (19 kg). The price for the commercial LPG gas cylinder will remain at ₹1403.50. After the monthly revision, it has been decided that the customers will get subsidy worth ₹274.41. The hike will be implemented from Saturday. 

The price of Small (Chotu) gas domestic cylinder (5 kg) has been increased to ₹282.50 and the customers will be provided with subsidy worth ₹97.62. In Mumbai, the price for domestic cylinders have increased to ₹495.09 which was ₹493.86 in the month of May.
