Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Tuesday launched the “MahaChatur AI Chatbot,” a digital initiative aimed at providing integrated access to skill development, employment opportunities, entrepreneurship support, and career guidance for youth across Maharashtra.

The chatbot has been developed by the state’s Skill Development, Employment, Entrepreneurship and Innovation Department to streamline the transition from education to employment. Designed as a one-stop platform, it seeks to connect job seekers with industry requirements while simplifying access to training and placement services.

One of the key features of the platform is its ability to significantly reduce the apprenticeship registration process from several days to just 15 minutes while guiding users through eligibility, applications, training options, and job opportunities. The service will be available via WhatsApp, making it easily accessible to a wide user base.

Developed in collaboration with the RightWalk Foundation, the MahaChatur AI Chatbot is expected to address challenges such as complex procedures and lack of guidance, offering a streamlined digital solution for skill-building and employment support in the state.
