In the Dongri building collapse incident, Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) claimed that the building was unauthorised. Amidst the blame game of the civic authorities, the Maharashtra government has transferred MHADA chief Dipendra Singh along with 25 more Indian Administrative Officers (IAS).

B. Radhakrishnan will now replace Dipendra Singh and the latter has been transferred as the CEO of Maharashtra Maritime Board. Sachin Surve has been appointed as the Secretary of Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis whereas Milind Borikar has been appointed as Collector of Mumbai's Suburban District.

Ajit Patil has been appointed as the Managing Director of Maharashtra Information Technology Corporation. AR Misal is the new commissioner of Navi Mumbai while his predecessor N Ramaswami is the new labour commissioner.  SR Daund, who was the secretary of Social Development Committee (SDC) is now the Konkan divisional commissioner.
