Not only in Mumbai but across Maharashtra, a common man spends years to get justice. And when it comes to differently abled or senior citizens, one can imagine how the situation would be more harrowing. In recent times, there were multiple cases pending related to the said sect of people.

Considering the need, the state government has decided to provide justice to these people by coming up with a special fast-track court at 11 different locations across the state where over 1000 cases would be still in the balance.

On Wednesday, a decision regarding this was taken in a cabinet meeting.

These special fast-track courts will be started in Mumbai, Pune, Parbhani, Thane, Ahmednagar, Sangli, Latur, Nagpur, Nashik, and Aurangabad.

The state will spend ₹4.87 lakh on these special fast-track courts in which ₹3.66 crore will be spent on creating 55 posts and ₹1.12 crore will be spent on yearly expenditure.
