A 17-year-old student of Agnel School drowned in the swimming pool at Vashi Swimming Pool in Navi Mumbai. In this case, the police have registered a case against the concerned person.


The name of the deceased student is Mayur Dhamale. He lives in Nerul and was studying in 11th at Father Agnel School. Swimming lessons were to be given to the swimming group (Batch) in sports class around one to half past one. For that, the students were lowered into the swimming pool. Many could swim in it, but swimming training was given for various swimming competitions.

However, when Mayur got into the deep water area where he drowned. By the time he realised this, he became unconscious. He was admitted to the hospital where he passed away during the treatment. In this regard, death due to carelessness has been reported. This information has been given by Madhukar Bhate, Senior Police Inspector of Vashi Police Station. Despite efforts in this regard, the response of the concerned school representative could not be obtained.
