The Standing Committee members expressed serious concern about the unfair treatment of security personnel at the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). The committee members have demanded to suspend the security officer for deliberately defaming and abusing the security guards. In addition to this, the security officer made women security guard to serve night shift at the BMC.

The Standing Committee has said that night shift should not be given to women security guards. Accordingly, the standing committee chairman Yashwant Jadhav has ordered the administration to submit the report at the next meeting.

Education committee chairman and Shiv Sena corporator Mangesh Satamkar accused security officer Abhay Chaubal of harassing security officers and deliberately transferring them by issuing fake letters. He added that security guards should be transferred but in a proper manner.

Shiv Sena party leader Vishakha Raut said that the security guard deliberately assigned a night shift to a woman security guard despite her illness. She too demanded that the women security guards should not be given night shift and security guards should not be transferred.
