In first of its kind case, Maharashtra Post Department has started a pension court which will hear the issues related to the pension of the retired employees. The special service initiated by the government will help in redressing the matters and complaints related to pension.

The first hearing for the court will be organised on July 3, 2019, at the General Post Office (GPO) building in Fort. Any employee, former employee or their relative can submit their complaints regarding the same in the court.

The complaint form is available online at the official website of Maharashtra Postal Circle – www.maharashtrapost.gov.in. Along with this, other related forms are also available on the website.

However, the complaints related to a policy decision, promotions or other similar matters will not be heard in the court. The complaints registered till July 3, 2019, will be eligible for a hearing. However, if the complaints have been filed post the hearing date of the court will not be heard.
