Due to essential and critical maintenance work at the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation’s (MIDC) Jambhul Water Treatment Plant, the water supply will be suspended for 24 hours from 12 PM on Thursday, May 22, 2025, to 12 PM on Friday, May 23, 2025 in areas between Katai and Thane.
This shutdown will affect all areas under the Diva, Mumbra, and Kalwa ward committees, as well as Rupadevi Pada, Kisan Nagar No. 2, and Nehru Nagar in the Wagle ward committee, and Kolset Khalsa Gaon in the Manpada ward committee.

After the supply resumes on Friday afternoon, water pressure is expected to be low for some time. The Municipal Corporation has advised residents to store an adequate amount of water in advance and to use it sparingly to avoid wastage during this period.
