A woman killed her neighbor over a dispute over water. The incident took place at around 11:30 pm on Tuesday at J.P. Nagar in Virar. The Arnala Marine Police have arrested the accused woman.
Umesh Pawar (57) lived in building number 15 in J.P. Nagar, Virar West. He had a long-standing dispute with his opposite neighbour, Kunda Tupekar (46), over water usage.
On Tuesday night, the two got into another fight. Meanwhile, in a fit of anger, Kunda Tupekar sprayed mosquito spray on Umesh Pawar's face.He fell unconscious and was admitted to the hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, he died.
“We have registered a case under the crime of murder and arrested the accused woman, Kunda Tupekar,” informed Vijay Pawar, Senior Police Inspector of Arnala Sagari Police Station.
