A portion of the Eastern Express Highway near Kopari experienced a lengthy traffic jam after 20 tons of tomatoes fell off a truck at around 2 AM on Friday. The driver of the truck reportedly lost control due to the heavy rain in the area, resulting in the truck overturning.
The scattered tomatoes were later picked up by an earthmover and dumped on the side of the road. Officials at the site carried out the work even as the rain persisted. Several citizens gathered at the spot to witness the cleanup process.
