According to the latest reports, there will be no water supply in some of the City and Development Corporation's (CIDCO) administered are owing to urgent repair works that will be undertaken by the Maharashtra Jal Pradhikaran (MJP) from Friday, March 11, morning to Saturday, March 12, evening. 

Based on accounts, the water supply will recommence on Saturday evening with low pressure. The CIDCO has reportedly highlighted that the water supply will be cut in Kalamboli, New Panvel, Kalundre and Karanjade nodes of the CIDCO on Friday at 10 am. 

This is slated to continue till Saturday at 4 pm. The MJP will be undertaking the repair work in the Feeder Main Pipeline. Post the completion of the repairing activities, the water supply will be resumed with low pressure. 

In light of this, the CIDCO has urged all the residents of the above mentioned nodes to consider the same and make arrangements for the storage of water. They have also asked their citizens to judiciously use water during the said period. 

Earlier on February 21, notices were issued across Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) wards that highlighted plans to discontinue water supply in the evening once a week. However, this was met with opposition, thus the authorities decided to re-assess the same, cited narratives.
