Major water pipeline connection works have been scheduled in Mumbai’s K East, H East, and G North administrative wards. Owing to this, there will be a 24-hour water supply shutdown from 9:00 am on December 12 to 9:00 am on December 13.

As a result, several areas in the K East, H East, and G North wards will experience a complete water cut, while some parts of the K East ward will receive water at low pressure.

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) will carry out connection work on, the 1800 mm Tansa West water main, the 2400 mm Vaitarna water main, and the 1500 mm water main in the G North ward. These works will be undertaken continuously for 24 hours during the specified period.

Residents of K East, H East, and G North wards are advised to store adequate water in advance and use water sparingly throughout the shutdown. As a precaution, the BMC has also appealed to citizens to boil and filter drinking water for a few days following the restoration of supply and to cooperate with the municipal administration.
