Burger King joins hands with Mumbai Indians and Avasara Leadership Foundation for ‘Sixes with Kings’ initiative

Sixes for Kings, the initiative by Burger King will donate 3 meals to every six hit by Mumbai Indians batsmen. Till now 80 sixes have been hit by Mumbai Indians and Burger King has donated 300 meals to Avasara Leadership Foundation.

International food chain Burger King launched an initiative, Sixes for Kings with Mumbai Indians players, Kieron Pollard, Mayank Markande and Ishan Kishan, in an association with Avasara Leadership Foundation. The initiative aims to encourage education and entrepreneurship for young women.

The cricketers interacted with the young ladies present at Burger King's outlet in Churchgate. During the interaction, a girl asked Pollard about his strength to hit sixes all around the ground, to which the West Indian chuckled and replied, “Sleep. Good sleep is the secret to my strength to hit sixes. It is necessary to relax in order to gain the strength to hit sixes.”

As per the initiative, Sixes for Kings, Burger King will donate 3 meals for every six hit by Mumbai Indians batsmen. Till now 80 sixes have been hit by Mumbai Indians and Burger King has donated 300 meals to Avasara Leadership Foundation.

Ishan Kishan, the man in form was asked if he feared the international fast bowlers, to which he said, “No, I am not afraid of the international fast bowlers. Actually, I want to face them since I am looking forward to playing International cricket.”

Mumbai Indians did not have an impressive start this IPL, but the team made an unbelievable comeback with three consecutive wins, which has placed them on the fourth spot on the points table.
