Arjun Tendulkar is a promising left-arm fast bowler and the Mumbai U-19 side in the upcoming All India Under-19 J Y Lele Invitational One Day Tournament will be led by Suved Parkar.

Left-arm pacer Arjun Tendulkar is set to play for Mumbai’s U-19 team for 6th All India Under-19 JY Lele Invitational One Day tournament. The tournament will begin from September 16 and will see a clash of U-19 teams from across the country.

On Tuesday, Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) Joint Secretary Unmesh Khanvilkar said in a statement that Mumbai’s U-19 side will be led by Suved Parkar.

The sixth edition of the tournament is being held in Vadodara. Meanwhile, the son of the former right-hand batsman and cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar made his India U-19 debut against Sri Lanka at Colombo in July.

In the first match against Sri Lanka, Arjun got the breakthrough for India in the first innings by taking the first wicket and finished the match in the second innings by scalping the last wicket. India U-19 won the match by an innings and 21 runs.

Squad: Suved Parkar (Captain), Divyansh Saxena, Karan Shah,Pragnesh Kanpillewar, Hashir Dafedar, Arsalan Shaikh, Yash Salunkhe, Kesar Singh Thapa, Vaibhav Kalamkar, Atharva Ankolekar, Bhushan Jalawadkar, Praful Devkate, Arjun Tendulkar Uzair Khan, Balwant Singh Sodha and Saksham Parashar.
