Rohit Sharma "Hopes" that Yuzvendra Chahal finds his missing tooth

Rohit was dropped from the 18-man squad for the first three matches of the five-Test series against England.

Indian vice-captain Rohit Sharma wished his teammate Yuzvendra Chahal on his 28th birthday on Twitter. Sharma took a dig at the leggie as he posted a photo of him and Chahal. In the photo, the Haryana cricketer can be seen with a missing tooth.

Meanwhile, India’s selection panel had met in Leeds to pick the Test squad. Mohammed Shami made a comeback, Rishabh Pant got his maiden national call but Sharma failed to find to spot in the 18-man squad for the Test.

The Mumbai Indians skipper finished as the highest run-scorer in the T20 series against the English. His 137 runs came at an average of 68.50 in three matches and were studded with a century. Whereas in the ODI series, Rohit scored a dazzling 137 not out in the maiden ODI of the series.
