After claiming the Indian Premier League (IPL) title for a record fourth time, it was celebration time for Mumbai Indians and as a part of their celebrations, the players took part in a victory parade in an open bus which ran on the streets of South Mumbai on Monday, May 13.

The team led by Rohit Sharma won the IPL 2019 Final against an equally strong Chennai Super Kings (CSK) team in a last-ball thriller as they defeated the MS Dhoni-led side by one run on May 12 in Hyderabad.

The members of the squad and support staff travelling in an open bus from Antilla (which is the residence of the franchise owners, i.e. Ambanis), to Trident hotel, which is the team hotel in Mumbai were in a frolic mood while celebrating their win. The celebration was co-joined by the fans who were ecstatic about their team's victory in the IPL Final for the fourth time.

Team owner Nita Ambani was also seen on the bus.

Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians are the only IPL franchise to win the trophy four times in the total 12 seasons. On the other hand, the runner-ups, Chennai Super Kings have clinched the trophy thrice.
