In the sixth Santosh Kumar Ghosh Under-16 Cricket Tournament, MIG and Maria Sports Club emerged victoriously. MIG team defeated the Mumbai Sporting Union by 39 runs to win the semi- final. In the second semi-finals, Maria Sports Club defeated Rekha Sports and Media Team by 135 runs.

MIG team won the toss and elected to bat first in the match played at Azad Maidan. Asad Sheikh's half-century and valuable contribution from Harsh Patil (32) and Sheesh Shetty (35) took the score at par. MIG scored 186-7 in 45 overs. Chasing a low-scoring target the Mumbai Sporting Union were bundled out at a score of 147 runs. Bowlers chipped in with wickets at regular intervals thus securing the win for their team. Saud Mansori (21-3), Sashwat Jagtap (17-2) and Dakve (19-2) bowled at good line and length to restrict the opposition. Asad Sheikh was adjudged man of the match.

In the second semi-final match at the Parsi Cyclist, Maria Sports Club team f scored 275 runs (14 extras) for 9 in 44 overs. Anuj Bhor (40), Farhan Shaikh (23), Ayaz Khan (78) and Yajuwendra Awasthi (35) added valuable contributions in the team's run-score. Off-spinner Alsad Sheikh from Rekha Sports Club was the lone bowler who took 4 wickets for 36 runs. After that Farhan Khan (10/2), Ayaz Khan (33/3) and Sumit Prajapati (33/2) restricted the opposition to 140 runs to give the team a big win. Amit Sharma (36) and Saad Shaikh (49) fought alone. Ayaz Khan was declared as man of the match.
