Mumbai's Jemimah Rodrigues called up for the ODI series against South Africa

The teenager will be a part of the squad that will play three ODIs of the ICC Women's Championship and the matches will be played on February 5, 7 and 10.

Bandra’s Jemimah Rodrigues has been selected in the Indian Women’s Cricket Team for the three ODIs against South Africa, starting February 5. In addition to this tour, the Indian team will also play five T20 matches. Mitali Raj will lead the 16-member Indian women's team, with Harmanpreet Kaur as vice-captain.

Mumbai's Punam Raut, along with Jemimah, will be the city representatives on the international stage.

The first two ODIs will be played in Kimberley on February 5 and 7 respectively, the third and the final ODI will take place in Potchefstroom on February 10.

Ahead of the series, India will also play a warm-up match against South Africa on February 2 in Bloemfontein.

The three ODIs will be followed by a five-match T20 series and the squad for the same will be named later.
