Opener Hardik scores ton, Mumbai Riders defeats Thane Maratha in Mitsui Shoji T-20 match

Mumbai Police City Riders and Thane Maratha Association played against each other in the league match of Mitsui Shoji T-20 Cricket Tournament. The match was played on Oval Maidan. Opener batsmen of Mumbai City riders Jai Beesta and Hardik Tamore ripped opposition bowlers apart. Their thundering partnership of 215 runs was the testament of their brilliant knocks. 

Jai missed his century by 4 runs as he scored 96 runs (14 fours, 4 sixes) but his partner was fortunate as he bundled 113 runs (9 fours, 10 sixes). The team scored 283 runs, replying to the mammoth total Thane Maratha were bowled out at meagre 101 runs. Thus the riders won the match by the huge margin of 181 runs.
