Another match, another fifty! After scoring a century on his debut, Mumbai batsman Prithvi Shaw scored a fifty against the Windies during the second Test match on October 13. The 18-year-old reached the landmark in just 39 deliveries and helped India race to 80 for one at lunch on the second day of the second Test.

After lunch, Shaw came back and scored some runs by hitting a couple of boundaries. However, he was caught by Shimron Hetmyer on Jomel Warrican’s delivery. His knock of 70 runs consisted of 11 fours and a six.

The opener gave a great start to India after the West Indies managed to post 311 runs before being bowled out by Umesh Yadav who picked six wickets in the first innings and reached his career-best figures of 6-88.

Meanwhile, the fourth ODI match between India and West Indies on October 29 has been shifted from Wankhede stadium to Brabourne stadium at the Cricket Club of India (CCI) in Mumbai.
