Mumbai Indians is all set to take on Rajasthan Royal in just some time now at Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi. There is another reason to look forward to today's match as the skipper of Mumbai Indians is only 86 runs sky of collecting 4,000 runs for its team.

Earlier last week, Rohit Sharma had become the third batsman to 5,000 runs in his IPL career. Sharma achieved this milestone when his team recorded a win against Kings XI Punjab. The other players that have managed to cross this feat include Suresh Raina and Virat Kohli. Raina, who is not playing in this season, has scored 5,368 runs in 193 IPL matches.

Coming back to Sharma, he was earlier part of Deccan Chargers squad.

It is expected to be a close match today. Mumbai Indians have won their last two matches against Kings XI Punjab and SunRisers Hyderabad and will be looking at a hat-trick of wins. At this ground, MI has played 3 matches earlier of which they have won 2.

Historically, out of the 23 clashes between MI and RR, both sides have emerged victorious eleven times each with one match ending in no result. However, RR has an ongoing four-match winning streak against the defending champions.

Apart from Sharma, another batsman to look forward to in today's match is Quinton de Kock. He finally came to his own against SRH when he scored 67 runs off just 39 balls
