On Sunday, November 10, as India entered the field to face Bangladesh in a series-decider at Nagpur, the Men in Blue managed to win against the Bangla Tigers by 30 runs in the third and final T20I to seal the three-match series 2-1. Indian batsmen, KL Rahul and Shreyas scored responsible half-centuries to help India post a massive total against Bangladesh but the hero of the win was fast-bowler Deepak Chahar.

The right-arm pacer was on fire as he registered world-record figures of six wickets at an expense of just seven runs. His spell came at a time when India required a bounce back from a tough spot and owing to his heroics, the visitors were bowled out for just 144. He also became the first Indian Men's Team bowlet to take a hat-trick in T20Is.

And as soon as the game ended, legendary Sachin Tendulkar took to Twitter to praise his Chahar. The former India batsman also had some words of praise for Dube, Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul as he wrote:

After posting a solid 174-run target, India required a strong start to dominate Bangladesh throughout the game and Chahar managed to do the same as he dismissed Liton Das and Soumya Sarkar in consecutive deliveries to temporarily paralyse the visitors. However, with Chahar not bowling, Mohammad Naim and Mohammad Mithun stabilised the innings for the visitors with a 98-run stand.

After which, in order to revive their chances in the game, Sharma recalled Chahar back in attack and he managed to dismiss a set Mithun. Supporting Chahar, Shivam Dube then accounted for Mushfiqur Rahim, Naim and Afif Hossain to destroy Bangladesh's chances at winning the match.

Chahar then bagged a well-earned hat-trick by taking the last three wickets on as many balls. He dismissed Shafiul Islam on the final ball of the 18th over before dismissing Mustafizur Rahman and Aminul Islam on the first two balls of the 20th over to complete a sensational hat-trick.
