Caribbean legend Brian Lara was rushed to Global Hospital, Parel on June 25, Tuesday, after he complained of chest pain. The West Indies batsman has been working as an expert for Star Sports for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019.  

However, the angiography report by doctors showed that the cricketer was fit and did not suffer from a heart attack.

Lara, who turned 50 on May 2, has been regarded as one of the greatest batsmen to have played the game. He holds the record for the highest individual score, an unbeaten 501 and is also the only cricketer to score 400 in a Test match.

Brian Lara has played 131 Tests and 299 ODIs for West Indies from 1990 to 2007. Throughout his career of 131 Tests, Lara scored 11,953 runs including 34 hundreds and 48 fifties. On the other hand, in 299 ODIs, Lara has scored 10,405 runs with 19 hundreds and 63 fifties.
