Based on reports, an official from the NCB elaborated on how the operation is presently underway. Therefore, they weren’t divulging information at this point in time.

Later on Tuesday, NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede elaborated on how the NCB Mumbai busted a clandestine drug unit at Nanded district's Kandhar. Herein they seized 111kg of poppy straw, 1.4kg of opium, Rs 1.55 lakhs, 2 grinding machines, used for poppy seed grinding & an E-scale note counting machine on Monday.

Wankhede added that the authority has registered the case as crime no. 99 of 2021 with further operations underway to nab the suppliers.
