According to NCB Zonal Director, Sameer Wankhede, on Monday, November 15, the Mumbai NCB also seized 1127kg of marijuana from Nanded, reported the ANI. The report claims that based on NCB sources, the contraband was brought from Hyderabad. Two people were also intercepted and they will also be produced before the court, with the probe being currently underway.

However, earlier in the day, the NCB team claimed to have seized 1500 kgs of ganja near Erandol in Maharashtra's Jalgaon district. According to the report, two people were apprehended for questioning. Additionally, it was believed that the contraband was being brought from Andhra Pradesh's Visakhapatnam. Later, the revised and corrected the details shared. 

On Saturday, November 13, eight people from Mumbai were nabbed for allegedly peddling drugs in Goa. The authorities received a tip-off from the local police team.

Similarly, on Tuesday, November 2, the NCB seized a large quantity of heroin from Mumbai's Vile Parle. Additionally, in the first eight months, this year, Mumbai Police and Anti-Narcotics Squad have arrested 3,575 accused and seized drugs worth INR 87 crores. Moreover, the NCB seized drugs worth INR 22cr from Sion, earlier last month.
