As per reports, Mumbai Police had earlier evacuated around 150 people from a hostel after an anonymous call was made stating that there was a bomb in the premises.
However, the cops have later stated that no explosive material was found on the premises. DCP Sangramsinh Nishandar (zone 1) also confirmed the same stating that the call turned out to be a hoax. According to sources, serving MLAs and their personal assistants had been among those evacuated.
