Days after the news of World based street dog Lucky was mercilessly killed, there are news reports coming for another such barbaric acts. The case is being referred to as Bandra Kurla Dog Cruelty case. The dog in question here, was found dead opposite ONGC colony with knotted pieces of cloth tied to his front legs.

Reports suggest that this dog was possibly killed by tying limbs to a vehicle and then dragged. He was found with eyes popped out, neck twisted and blood dripping from his private parts.

The police investigation regarding this case is on and they are looking at CCTV footage to find out who did it.

In case of Lucky, several known personalities such as Sonam Kapoor, John Abraham, Jacqueline Fernandes, Shobha De etc took to social media to raise their voice against the cruelty. In a recently held event, many Mumbaikars, activists along with the celebrities protested opposite the building in Worli, to create awareness for inhumane cases.

For those unaware, Lucky was beaten up by a security guard of a residential complex in Worli and after battling for his life, he succumbed to his injuries. He was being treated at the Crown Vet Hospital.

While, we hope that the culprits in both these cases are brought to justice but it also makes us wonder that if Mumbai slowly is becoming unsuitable for Dogs?
