They further revealed that the motive behind attacking Malegaon again was to avenge the atrocities committed against the accused in the Malegaon bomb blast case. All the connections of this matter have been traced from an organisation's office in Goa.

Along with being associated with the assassination of Dabholkar, Pansare and Gauri Lankesh, the organisation had entrusted the Bakri Eid plot to Vaibhav Raut and his colleagues. So far, ATS has investigated 35 to 40 people in this case.

In addition to this, the Anti-Terrorism Squad will also verify the connection of the accused in the Ahmednagar Parcel Bomb case. Similar to the Ahmednagar case, the accused has been found with a low-intensity bomb. The forensic lab will be approached to interrogate about the same.
