The Andheri police arrested a 56-year-old man on Tuesday for molesting two minor girls who were playing in front of the house. After the incident, the victim girls were scared. The matter came to light after they told this to the class teacher. In this case, the Andheri police registered a case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences and Molestation Act based on the complaint made by the mother of the victim girl.
The victim girls are eight and nine years old respectively. She was playing on Sundays in the residential area. At that time the accused behaved obscenely with the girls and the girls got scared. They did not tell this to anyone. Finally, one of the victim girls told their class teacher about this incident. After hearing that, the class teacher immediately informed the victim girl's mother. At that time, the girl's mother took the girl into confidence and asked the girl, she narrated the incident.
Finally, a complaint was filed in this matter at Andheri Police Station on Tuesday. Accordingly, the police immediately registered a case under the molestation and POCSO Act and arrested the 56-year-old accused on Tuesday midnight.
