On Tuesday, December 14, NCB Zonal Director, Mumbai, Sameer Wankhede was quoted stating that the body initiated many operations at multiple locations in Mumbai. During this, they seized an aggregate of 2.296 Kgs of Amphetamine, 3.906 Kgs of Opium, and 2.525 Kgs of Zolpidem tab, reported news agency ANI.

This activity was undertaken from December 10 to 14 wherein one Ivorian national was also intercepted. During the first operation, 490 g of Amphetamine, concealed in a stethoscope, was seized in Andheri on December 10.
In the second operation, 3.906 Kgs of Opium, concealed in a microwave oven, was yet again seized in Andheri on December 13. Similarly, in the third operation, 2.525 Kgs Zolpidem tab, concealed in eatables and grocery items was seized in Andheri on December 13.
The fourth operation was also conducted in Andheri on December 13, wherein 941 grams of Amphetamine was found concealed in cycling helmets and bangles.
On the other hand, the fifth operation was undertaken in Dongri wherein 848 grams of Amphetamine was hidden in hose pipes and a tie box. In the sixth operation, in Andheri on December 14, 17 g of Amphetamine, concealed in 1 TB Hard Disk was seized.
