Juhu Police arrested a very funny and notorious gang which used to steal from high-rise buildings. This particular gang was nicknamed ‘Spider-man’ gang as they used to literally climb high-rise building with the help of pipes and steal from people.
The police have arrested in total six people along with two minors. This gang has climbed an 11-floored building with the help of the pipeline and stolen from there.
A few days ago, police were notified about this gang being around Mithibai College, Ville Parle. Police arrested Ramesh Devendra (21), Kashinath Vishwakarma (22), Krishna Devendra (20) and Premkumar Devendra (22).
Juhu police recovered 20 phones, one iPad, INR 1,28,000 worth jewellery and INR 2,86,000 cash from these four and the two minors.
Minors were used to make this robbery possible as these kids used to climb high-rise buildings in Juhu and then break in from windows.
This gang has been active in the Juhu area. They have broken into seven apartments. They have also been active in the Khar and Andheri vicinity,” investigating officer, Rahul Deshmukh.
