Goa — The biggest tourist tip-off ever! The fun, sunshine and the smallest state of India doesn’t need any introduction. Right from the picturesque beaches to rustic neighbourhoods, the place never fails to amaze us. But, the most distinctive about this pearl-of-the-orient is its Konkani cuisine which is stunning and wins everyone’s taste sensors and has, without a doubt, transformed Goa in the seaside resort of international fame. The meals in Goa are not less attractive its beaches and sunsets.
But Goa plans are made to be unsuccessful, right? How about we tell you that you can experience a little of Goa here in your own city?


What’s the story?

A two-day Goa festival dedicated to the culture and food of Goa. If you hadn’t known about the Goa series, this is the eighth edition of the festival in Mumbai. The festival will bring delicacies from Goa through 50 stalls that will display varieties of fish, artefacts and more. Organised by ‘Aamhi Goenkar’, a Dadar-based association, the festival will enable you to get an insight into the fascinating culture of the Konkan belt.


What more?

There’s also going to be a talent hunt and singing competition to keep you entertained, among other acts. Other activities will include Konkani speaking competition, exploring Konkani literature, ‘Gazali and Geeta’, culinary competition, and healthiest baby competition, etc, etc. So much for your delight to go along with the yummy Konkani food!

And the entry is on the house so you can take your whole family out!
