Actor Sharib Hashmi is all prepared to build suspense with his role as a Tribal Welfare Officer from Andaman, following his successful voyage in "The Family Man" 1 and 2. The actor has been in a number of films in Bollywood and has lately begun appearing in web series.
The Great Indian Murder as the name suggests revolves around a murder mystery of Vicky Rai son of a high-profile minster. The thriller casts a huge number of talented artists including, Richa Chadha, Pratik Gandhi, Ashutosh Rana, Shashank Arora, Raghubir Yadav, Paoli Dam, Sharib Hashmi, Jatin Goswami amongst others.
Richa Chaddha and Pratik Gandhi is seen playing the investigating officers for Vicky Rai’s murder. Whereas Sharib Hashmi is playing a character of Tribal Welfare Officer who came from Andaman in search of a lost antique. The audience has several theories about how Sharib's persona is connected to Vicky Rai's murder. It's also unclear if the Tribal Welfare Officer is one of the Six Suspects in the crime drama.
Sharib Hashmi before the launch of the trailer made it to Instagram with the video where he is seen in the character and giving the audience a hint about what his character is all about. It still remains unclear, what an Andaman-based Tribal Welfare officer is doing around Vicky Rai’s murder scenario.
The trailer has been dropped on Disney+Hotstar, the crime thriller seems to be filled with adventure, mystery, and suspense. The web show will be streamed on the same OTT platform from February 4.
Sharib Hashmi has done a few movies in recent times where he has taken up different roles. This particular role seems to be different from the others. The audience is all thrilled by the trailer and seeing Sharib in an intriguing role.
