These mainly included horror and adult films which are also known as 'below the belt' in today's parlance. Even superstars from Dharmendra to Rajesh Khanna could not resist the temptation to work in such a film. A documentary on this 'B grade film' world will soon be released on the OTT platform Prime Video.

Amazon Prime Video’s new documentary series 'Cinema Marte Dum Tak' by Vice Studios and creator Vasan Bala, will take audiences back in time, and will explore the fringe B-grade film industry of the 1990s. This series will be seen on Prime Video from January 20.
