ITI online admissions are receiving a good response from students, and so far, nearly 1 lakh 80 thousand students have applied online. Of these, 1 lakh 63 thousand 808 students have confirmed their applications by paying the fee. While 1 lakh 11 thousand 640 students have filled their preference.
The ITI admission process began on May 15. During the one-month period from May 15 to June 18, a total of 1,80,015 students have registered for 1,54,000 ITI seats. Of these, 1 lakh 66 thousand 606 students have finalised their application. Out of these, 1 lakh 63 thousand 808 students have paid the registration fee.
The facility to fill in the preference order has been made available to students since May 26. Accordingly, out of the students who have confirmed their applications so far, 1 lakh 11 thousand 640 students have filled in their preference order.

The general merit will be announced after the deadline for filing admission applications. After this, students will be given a period to file objections. After this process is completed, a provisional merit list will be announced. After that, the first merit list will be announced.
There are a total of 1 lakh 54 thousand seats available for ITI admissions this year, including 93 thousand in 419 government ITIs and 61 thousand in 588 non-government ITIs.
There are 44 courses of one year duration and 36 courses of two years duration. Applications for admission to these courses are being submitted from May 15 on the website https://admission.dvet.gov.in.
