In a major relief for lakhs of students appearing for the SSC and HSC examinations of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE), this year additional 10 minutes will now be given at the end of the exam.
A circular issued by Anuradha Oak, secretary, MSBSHSE, stated, “In 2022, there were some instances of cheating and a case of a question paper going viral on social media before the actual paper could start so the practice of distributing the paper 10 minutes before the scheduled time has been discontinued from this year. But for the benefit of students, it has been decided that these 10 minutes will now be given at the end of the exam as scheduled.”
The changes in timings for morning session of class 10th-12th board exams are as follows
> Current timing of the exam is 11:00 am to 2:00 pm
< Revised Exam Timing from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm
> Current Timing of Exam - 11:00 am to 1:00 pm
< Revised Exam Timing 11:00 am to 1:10 pm
> Current Exam Timing - 11:00 am to 1:30 pm
< Revised timing from 11:00 am to 1:40 pm
Revised schedule in afternoon session
> Current Timing of Exam - 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm
< Revised Timings from 3:00 pm to 6:10 pm
> Current timing of the exam is 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm PM
< Revised timings from 3:00 pm to 5:10 pm
> Current timing of the exam is 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm
< Revised timing from 3:00 pm to 5:40 pm
