State board extends the deadline for filling up Form No-17

Many students were not able to fill up forms by August 25, hence, the state board extended the deadline to September 10

Students who were not able to apply for direct enrolment as a private candidate for both SSC and HSC examinations, by filling Form no-17, will now be able to do it as the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has extended the last date for filling forms. Initially, the last date for filling the forms was August 25, 2018, and now it has been extended to September 10, 2018.

In Maharashtra, around 1-2 lakh SSC & HSC students apply for the examination by filling up Form no-17. Amongst these, there are many who fail in 9th grade and 11th grade, while many abandon education due to some unavoidable conditions.

Students will have to fill up forms online till September 10, 2018. After filling up the form, students should submit the print out of the same form along with application fees and documents.
