The National Commission of Medical Sciences has changed the schedule of NEET PG 2024 exam. According to the revised schedule, the NEET PG exam will be held on June 23. As per the old schedule, the exam was to be held on July 7. The National Commission of Medical Sciences has changed the schedule of NEET PG exam. Accordingly, the National Eligibility Entrance Test Post Graduate (NEET PG) will now be held on June 23. The result of this exam will be declared on July 15.
The decision was taken in a meeting held by the Board of PostGraduate Medical Education, National Commission of Medical Sciences, Medical Advisory Committee, Directorate General of Health Sciences and National Board of Examinations for Medical Sciences. As per the new schedule, the counselling round for NEET PG 2024 admission will be conducted from August 5 to October 15. Cut off date for eligibility will be August 15, 2024. The new academic session will start from September 16.
Also the last date for admission in the college is October 21. It was announced that the NEET PG 2024 exam will be held first on March 3. The examination was then postponed till July 7. But now again the exam date has been changed.
As per the new rules of the Post Graduate Medical Education (Amendment) Regulations 2018, the NEET PG examination for admission to post graduate medical programs will continue until NExT is operational. NExT is scheduled to launch in 2025. Earlier the NExT exam was scheduled to start in 2023.
