Despite the coronavirus outbreak, the HSC exams were successfully conducted. There is only one exam that SSC students are yet to appear for. With the number of people testing positive for COVID-19, everyone including the teachers have been advised to stay at home and maintain social distance. There is no word however on how many days teachers will be given to evaluate these answer sheets. Yesterday, on March 23, the Mumbai divisional board announced that all sessions for moderators, who cross-check papers evaluated by the examiners now stands cancelled.
The SSC examination for Geography has been postponed by the education department. This was the last exam and was scheduled to be held on March 23. The revised date for the paper will be announced post-March 31.
