Troubled with this fee hike and school's attitude, parents wrote the letter to the education department, but no action was taken. It is worth noting that on 21 April, a large number of parents protested against the schools in the Azad Maidan. Not only this, a group of parents had also met State Education Minister Vinod Tawde and he stated that action will be taken against the schools as the administration cannot force anyone to buy stationery items from the school itself.
